Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Excellent food. Osso bucco was melt in the mouth and plenty of it. Slow cooked for hours in their bread oven, then finished on the firepit oven Homemade sausage was tasty....if a bit small if you were hungry (we weren't) Served with potato wedges with rosemary and baked in the firepit oven. So good. Their gluten free roll was served warm and crispy. It was light and made for the marrowbone and mopping up the osso bucco juices. Gf bread cannot compare to real bread, but this was one of the best substitutes I've had. Their home made cheesecake was delicious as was the mousse cheesecake which was served with jam to honey and walnuts. The staff were polite and efficient and happy to provide alternatives for dietary restrictions. If you are in the area, go, don't miss out."
"Amazing restaurant atmosphere and upcycled decor. Fantastic food, it was so good that I forgot to take pictures of it. Very friendly service. Love the concept , congratulations!"
"Absolutely fantastic food: We enjoyed vegetarian and fish dishes, followed by a delicious dessert. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, as they use local ingredients and prepare traditional Galician dishes. The atmosphere was much more relaxed compared to other spots on the street, and the decor added to the cozy feel. They were also very welcoming to our dog, kindly offering him water as soon as we arrived. I highly recommend this place!"
"An amazing experience! We ordered Galician-style grilled octopus and baby scallops and they were just incredible! Octopus was very delicious and soft and scallops just melted in mouth. Also, sangria was very good!"
"This is a great spot for organic, self grown produce and delicious dishes. We had the slow cooked veil, rump steak, organic veg and croquettes. All delicious! Would definitely recommend - especially for a break from Tapas."
"We travel the world and eat in all sorts of places, from pubs to Michelin-star restaurants and we’d rate the food here as one of the best we’ve ever had. Understated and decently-priced, everything we ate felt like it’s just been picked from the farm/ocean and cooked by your grandma. Everything we ate we then had doubles. Their tomato salad is the best we had in Spain - and that’s a very high bar. The octopus was beautiful. And the apple pie was what you remember it to be from childhood - I had two slices, one after another. The service was also highly entertaining - waiters in Spain work hard and are very efficient, but the waiters here were at a different level altogether."
"Fresh, local and green selection! Sangria is very tasty. Service is gracious and friendly. I wish it wasn't my last day in Santiago, that I would have found this place earlier."
"I had a great meal here! The food, is indeed farm to table, and of very high quality. I had steak with potatoes and padrón peppers, The house red wine, which was very nice. Definitely recommend you check this out in Santiago; Especially if you’re interested in local grassfed beef."
